Transportation Advisory Committee

The Mid-Missouri Regional Planning Commission is a planning partner with the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT). Through a contract with MoDOT, the MidMO RPC hosts bi-monthly meetings that include the regions elected and appointed leaders to hear from and give input to MoDOT staff about various planned projects. In planning for the region's transportation needs and opportunities, MidMO RPC staff collaborates with staff of the region's two metropolitan transportation-planning organizations, Capitol Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) http://www.fhwa.dot.gov/modiv/jeffcity.htm and the Columbia Area Transportation Study Organization (CATSO) http://www.gocolumbiamo.com. By attending regular meetings of CAMPO and CATSO, regional planning commission staff remain focused on the planning issues that include the Mid-Missouri region.
